Interviews and media

My recent work on large language models, emergent abilities and existential risk has attracted substantial international media attention. A 2024 study on whether LLMs pose an “existential threat” generated over 200 pieces of coverage across 30+ countries and almost 20 languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Arabic and Telugu. The coverage spans newspapers, online magazines, radio and finance/tech outlets, and runs from mid-August to late September 2024.
