Prior to starting my PhD, I co-founded and ran Webfluenz, a product based social media marketing company, for six years.

Webfluenz started as a three person operation out of a small terrace in India. Over the course of six years Webfluenz grew into a company, headquartered in Singapore, with close to fifty employees. Webfluenz was acquired in early 2014.

Webfluenz was listed among the top fifteen tools in Goldbach Interactive’s Social Media Monitoring Tool Report 2012 and was a Red Herring 100 Asia finalist for two consecutive years in 2012 and 2013.

Before being re-branded as Webfluenz, the company was called 4am design and technology labs and provided a wide range of services.
